• You are under 18
  • You have diabetes
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have glaucoma or taking blood thinning medicines (e.g., aspirin, warfarin)
  • You have skin diseases such as psoriasis or eczema
  • You have transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis
  • You have a hemophilia, sickle cell anemia or platelet disorder
  • You have healing disorders or uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • You are on any skin medication such as Accutane or steroids
  • You have active skin cancer
  • You undergoing radiotherapy or chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
  • You have epilepsy
  • You have a pacemaker or major heart problems
  • You had Botox or dermal fillers in the past one month (must wait 2 weeks following injections date)
  • Skin peels – skin must be completely recovered prior to prodedure date (approx.. 2 weeks) following treatment date.
  • IPL or LASER treatments – skim must be completely recovered (approximately) 2 weeks)
  • Tanning – allow skin 3 days to recover following tanning session
  • Waxing- allow skin 3 days to recover following session
  • Allergies to makeup or colors
  • Juvederm or other “fillers”: Get permanent makeup first or ask your juvederm tech for clearance.
  • Shingles: If you have shingles on your face, wait several months to get permanent makeup.
  • Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA) medications. Example: Asprin™
  • Anticoagulants (blood thinners)
  • Niacin
  • Retinol (2% or higher) – Avoid usage for 3 days prior to appointment. If prescribed, consult with physician
  • Acne medication (topical/oral) – Consult with physician
